    RESCHEDULED: Due to poor weather conditions on the original date, this event has been rescheduled for Saturday 7 September at Malahide Yacht Club.

    Scouts are required to meet in the Den at 0800hrs on Saturday morning. They will need full uniform, Manannán t-shirt and training top, boating gear, packed lunch, Leap Card/DART fare.

    Teams of 4 race East Coast Skiffs in each age category from under 13 to over 18. Punt and kayak races are also run.

    Troops race their East Coast Skiffs from Dún Laoghaire Harbour across Dublin Bay to Dodder Sea Scout Den. The race is a relay, with u17s rowing from Dún Laoghaire to Costello Slip on the South Wall, u15s then rowing to Poolbeg Yacht Club, and finally u14s rowing as far as Dodder Sea Scout Den.

    Manannán will be meeting in the Den at 0900hrs on Saturday morning to prepare Lir. The race is expected to start at 1100hrs from the East Breakwater. Scouts will need: full uniform, Manannán t-shirt and training top, boating gear, warm change of clothes, packed lunch. Crews will be transported to their changeover locations by water so Scouts should have raingear and a warm top for this.

    All Scouts must return to the Den after the event to recover Lir from the water.

    Dún Laoghaire to Dodder Sea Scout Den

    Teams of three (one swimmer, one runner and one kayaker) compete against each other in u13, u15 and u17 age categories.

    Manannán teams will be meeting in the Den at 0930hrs before heading out to Malahide Sea Scout Den. Scouts need to bring: full uniform, Manannán t-shirt and training top, swimming/running/boating gear depending on what leg they are competing in, packed lunch, warm change of clothes.

    8ú Calafort members will contribute to the Big Beach Clean 2019 by doing a clean-up of the Old Harbour and surrounding areas in Dún Laoghaire between 1100hrs and 1200hrs.

    Scouts will need to wear their neckerchief and Manannán training top.
