Welcome to 8ú Calafort Gasóga Mara – 8th Port Dún Laoghaire Sea Scouts.
We are a Sea Scouting group located on the West Pier in Dún Laoghaire, County Dublin, Ireland. Our members receive an excellent grounding in seamanship in addition to the other outdoor skills and sporting activities normally associated with scouting such as hillwalking and camping.

- Oíche na hÓige/Youth Night 20258ú Calafort will join communities across Ireland on Friday, 21 November 2025 to celebrate Oíche na hÓige/Youth Night – a new national event celebrating youth work, youth clubs, and young people.As part of Oíche na hÓige 2025, we will host a special event at the Den from 7:30- 9pm, showcasing the energy, creativity, and achievements of our scouts.The evening will feature the scouts demonstrating their skills and talking about their adventures over the past year. All parents and friends are welcome for the evening.
