Camping gear list:

All gear should be packed lined with bin liners in case of rain.

• A large bag and a day bag
• Medication if required – MUST be brought to attention of Section Leaders
• Packed lunch for Friday
• Neckerchief
• Hiking boots
• Wellies
• Rain Gear (Jacket and leggings)
• Sleeping bag
• Ground mat
• Bivvy bag / survival bag
• Clothing for 10 days (t-shirts, jumpers, shorts, trousers, underwear, etc)
• Warm clothing (fleeces, hat, etc)
• Pyjamas
• Sun hat
• Boating gear (see below)
• Towels
• Wash bag/ toiletries (products with micro beads are banned)
• Hand sanitiser
• Sun Cream
• Insect repellent
• 1L water bottle
• Torch/ head torch (with spare batteries)
• Bowl, plate, cup, spoon, knife, fork
• Tea towel x2
• Penknife (sharpened)

Scouts are permitted to bring playing cards, books, magazines etc

Any electronic items such as iPods, kindles and smart watches will be the Scouts

own responsibility.

Mobile phones are NOT PERMITTED on this camp and will be confiscated for the
duration of camp.

Boating Gear:

• PFD
• Booties
• Swim suit
• Cag / rain jacket
• Rain leggings
• Rash vests / quick dry t-shirts
• Board shorts/ sports shorts
• Wetsuit

Flip flops / slides / crocs are not appropriate footwear for boating. Any clothing being worn during boating must not be cotton. Fleeces are a good alternative layer for warmth.
