Rowing Regatta - 28th August.  Luí Isteach   1030am Dún Laoghaire West Pier.

You must have FULL SCOUT UNIFORM for the presentation ceremony.

 Hoodies will NOT be permitted.

You must have appropriate boat gear for each event.  FLIP FLOPS NOT ALLOWED

The Group is running supervised Summer Boating Sessions during the weeks till Summer Camp. 

Generally they run Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays 10:00 to 15:00 each day.  They will be run a "week by week" basis depending on demand and availability of vessels. 

These are supervised, not instruction, sessions.  Check the web for updates.

There is no cost for these sessions.

Full and proper boating gear must be worn and NECKERS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES - EVEN WHEN SAILING.

All Gasoga must obey the instructions of the supervising leader.

In order to guage the level of interest, and establish the skill levels of interested scouts, we would like interested scouts to e-mail Gearoid ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) with the following information: Name, Age, Contact Phone number, Email address, Copy of any ISA Sailing qualifications, Dates that you are interested in.

The cost of each weekly course, which will run for five days Mon - Fri (Approx times - Start at 0930hrs - finish at 16:30hrs), is €60. (this is to cover the admin costs associated with issuing the relevant ISA Certs).

If there is sufficient interest, all scouts will be notified by text that the courses are going ahead and the number of places that are available. We envisage that there will be 12 places available each week. Places will be allocated on a "first come first served" basis.

Please note that everyone must start at Level 1, unless they already hold this or a higher level cert. For those who have sailing experience but have not obtained the relevant ISA Cert, Direct Assessments may be arranged subject to demand.
