Troop t-shirt if you have one
Fodhla Hoodie if you have one
Towel & wash gear and any personal hygiene items
Big towel
Enough clothes for 10 days (socks, shorts, t-shirts, jumpers, trousers, under clothes)
Woolly hat
Sun Hat
Boating Shoes (NOT Flip Flops)
Warm Jacket/Fleece
Small rucksack for daytrips
Torch & spare batteries

No more than €10 spending money

No Mobile Phones

Other electrical equipment, such as cameras, is brought at owners own risk
All gear must be clearly labeled.
Leaders must be advised of all medicines

Greystones to Bray Hike - Sunday April 22 PDF Print E-mail

We are going on a hike from Greystones to Bray,

Meet at Greystones Station at 12:00.  Be sure to time your DART.

Dress for the weather.

The hike takes about 2.5 hours and we will travel back by DART or you can be collected from Bray DART station at about 4pm.

You need to bring: DART fare & lunch.

Text your Watch Leader to tell them if you are coming or not.

Warm jumpers/Fleeces

Warm trousers

T shirts, socks, underwear as required

Hiking boots & spare footwear

Insulating ground Mat

Sleeping bag

Wash kit incl towel

Oil skins Top and bottom

Spending money of not more than EUR10

1 litre Water bottle

High Factor Sun cream ( you never know !)

Tea towels x 2

Insect repellent

Packed lunch for day of departure from the Den

Medication, where required with prior notice to the leaders

Torch - with spare batteries

No Mobile phones, portable DVD players or Ghetto Blasters permitted 

Electronic equipment (iPods, cameras, etc are brought entirely at the scout's own risk)

All gear must be LABELLED & fully packed in good quality bag(s)

No Rugby Balls (not even "oval" footballs)
