Following the successful completion of the sailing courses last summer we will be running the courses again.
It is expected that the courses will start early June and continue through to mid/end of July.
We are unsure if we will be able to run courses in August.
There is a limited number of places on each weekly course, and because we wish to give our scouts first preference, we need to gauge the level of interest among scouts before we open the courses to other sea scout troops. Therefore we would ask that all interested scouts e-mail the following relevant information to

as soon as possible.
Please put summer sailing - troop name (ie Fodhla, Manannan or 3rd Port) and scouts name in the subject line.
This course is only available to registered scouts.
Thanks to all scouts who have already e-mailed us their details
- Troop Name,
- Name,
- Age,
- Contact Phone number,
- E-mail address,
- Scout leaders name
- Copy of any ISA Sailing qualifications,
- Dates that you are interested in attending,

The cost of each five day course, which will run Mon - Fri (Approx times - 0930hrs - 16:30hrs), is €120.
If there is sufficient interest, all scouts will be notified by email that the courses are going ahead and how many places are available. We envisage that there will be 12 places available each week.
Places will be allocated on a "first come first served" basis.
Please note that everyone must start at Level 1, unless they already hold this or a higher level ISA cert. For those with sailing experience who have not obtained the relevant ISA Cert, Direct Assessments may be arranged subject to demand.
